From first EP to Starwalk
I started as Dirty Disco Stars in 2013 with the debut EP Love Tonight on Disco Bomb — two disco-house cuts that set the lane I’ve stayed in ever since. Early-80s disco and funk are the main influence; you can hear that “funk mode” on releases like Fuse, Don’t Push It, and Get Up.
Bigger moments followed: Shine and the Coming Home remix helped push the name, and that same stretch landed me at #46 on Traxsource’s Top 100 Jackin House Artists. In 2015 I signed to Nervous Records for Never Gonna Fall In Love with Patricia Edwards. In 2016 I founded Starwalk Records — and in 2017 dropped a debut album on the imprint. Tracks like Future even cracked the Top 40 on Serbia’s Radio 202.
The sound keeps moving — sun-kissed nu-disco one month, smoking jackin beats the next — but the goal is the same: dancefloor records that feel classic and hit modern. That work has shown up across Nervous, Material, Cruise Music, Moodfunk, Nu Definition (Enormous Tunes), and compilations like Milk & Sugar and the Enormous Tunes Yearbook.
